WE NOW COVER VIRTUALLY EVERY BUSINESS & ORGANISATION IN SYDNEY'S EASTERN SUBURBS

WITH the launch of www.cyberpaddo.com.au we now span Sydney's waterside Eastern Suburbs - one of the livliest areas of Sydney, filled with restaurants & pubs, boutiques & galleries, as well as doctors & dentists, schools & hotels, etc. etc.

This site is still young & we welcome you to tell us about businesses that are not yet included - or entries that need to be updated.

Geographically, CyberPaddo covers the entire munipality of Woollahra, next to CyberBondi's territory of the munipality of Waverley. Together, the two sites come under the umbrella of www.cybereasternsububurbs.com.au

CyberPaddo covers the Harbourside Eastern Suburbs. while CyberBondi could be described as the "Beachside" Eastern Suburbs.

Together, the two sites contain over 9,500 local businesses and organisations with continuous updating of their details.

Each business is connected to a Google map. There are also links to its URL and email details, if they are available.

Talking avitars now tell you about each business. Business owners can ask us to customise what their avitar says. We can also arrange for their avitar to use their own voice or the voice of a staff member..

Our sites are particularly suited for use on iPHONES because each page is very low on kilobytes, thus saving telephone costs. You can also locate free Wireless (wi-fi) hot spots in Bondi and Paddington. Just go to SIMPLE SEARCH in the navbar at the top of this page and key in wi-fi, or simply click HERE.

OUR NEW ONLINE SHOPPING MALL SHOWCASES LOCAL BUSINESSES WHICH SELL ONLINE

CyberPaddo now has an Online Shopping Mall. It will boost the many local businesses who are now selling online. This is the shape of the marketplace-to-come and is an important addition to our site.

We hope our Online Malls will help local businesses which are up against the big global sites. We are stresing that local sites can be trusted, and delivery is quicker.

Our sister site, CyberBondi (http://www.cyberbondi.com.au ) also has an Online Shopping Mall, and soon a third local area network, CyberSouth, will go "live" - and it will have an Online Shopping Mall too.

CHANGES TO CATEGORIES
& BUSINESS TYPES

We are always striving to upgrade and update our categories and business types on our site.

Recently it was brought to our notice by some of our clients that our PSYCHOLOGY/PSYCHOTHERAPIST category in MEDICAL SERVICES was too broad, and needed refining.

As well, some other categories in both MEDICAL SERVICES and WELLBEING/ALTERNATIVE MEDICINE also needed altering.

So, accordingly, we have made the following changes:

We have renamed the PLAZA general category WELLBEING/ALTERNATIVE MEDICINE:

HEALTH-RELATED SERVICES

We have combined WELLNESS CENTRE with NATURAL HEALING CENTRE into a new lobby category:

NATURAL HEALTH/WELLBING

We have changed PSYCHOLOGY/PSYCHOTHERAPIST to:

PSYCHOLOGIST/CLINICAL PSYCHOLOGIST (the latter category consisting of psychologists who have had a longer period of training)

We have created in the renamed HEALTH-RELATED SERVICES a new category:

COUNSELLING/PSYCHOTHERAPY (removing PERSONAL COUNSELLING from PROFESSIONAL SERVICES)

We have switched DIALYSIS to a different column in MEDICAL SERVICES

We have also taken METHADONE out of MEDICAL SERVICES and transferred it to CHEMISTS

And adjusted the “pointers” accordingly

We are, as mentioned above, always trying to improve our categories and make them more meaningful and easier to use.
